POPULATION 1/0 AT CAC: 1895-O $10 GRADED MS63 BY PCGS
The 1895-O is common in grades through MS62 but it is scarce in properly graded MS63, and unknown finer.
This is the only MS63 example of this date to ever be approved by CAC and, to this day, none are finer. It has great luster and is less noticeably abraded than usual for the issue. Some sparkling yellow-gold toning can be seen at the obverse border while the reverse has similar but more extensive hues at 3:00 and 9:00.
Just three 1895-O eagles graded MS63 by PCGS have sold at auction since early 2011 and this exact coin is the only one to earn CAC approval.
If you are a collector of condition rarities, this 1895-O eagle should greatly appeal to you.
