NICE PCGS MS62+ 1895-0 EAGLE
This date is comparable to the 1893-O and 1894-O in terms of its overall and high grade rarity. The 1895-O eagle is available up to MS62 but it is very scarce in MS63 and all but unknown finer.
Were it not for some shallow contact marks in the left obverse field, this piece would likely have graded MS63. It is frosty and strictly original with nice natural orange-gold color on both sides.
No PCGS MS62+ has sold at auction.
A PCGS MS63 costs over $6,000 when available and the average MS63 isn't much choicer than this nice piece.
