This early date No Motto Liberty Head eagle is not often seen in AU55 and above, especially with natural color and surfaces. Most seen in AU55 holders have been stripped and are excessively abraded.
The green-gold color seen on this coin is exactly "right" for the issue and is indicative of originality. Both sides are peppered with small marks but none are detracting save for some contact at the bridge of Liberty's nose.
It is impressive to note that only one PCGS AU55 1841 has sold at auction since 2004 and it brought $1,880 as Heritage 11/14: 5191.
This seems like great value to me!
