1850-O $10 GRADED AU55 BY NGC
The 1850-O is a scarcer issue in the No Motto eagles series from New Orleans. It is not often seen above AU55, and it is extremely rare in Uncirculated with just three or four known.
This piece shows a typical strike for the issue and the surfaces are a bit scuffy as per usual. There is some natural russet color on both sides and hints of luster in the recesses.
In the last three years, three NGC AU55s have sold with the most recent coin bringing $3,120 in June 2021. In March 2019, another sold for $2,520, while the third sale was for $2,880 in August 2018.
This coin becomes hard to locate and expensive in any grade higher than AU55.
