OVERLOOKED 1841 $10, AFFORDABLE CAC EXAMPLE
The 1841 eagle, just like its half eagle counterpart, is a scarce and overlooked issue which remains affordable.
This piece is almost certainly not from an overseas source as are most 1841 eagles. It shows light chatter in the fields but it it is well-defined with nice color and a pleasing appearance.
No PCGS EF45 1841 eagle has appeared at auction since early 2009 (!)
Great value at under $2,000.
CAC has approved four in this grade with four finer.
