The 1892-CC is much harder to locate than the 1890-CC and 1891-CC half eagles and it represents a good value for the savvy collector on a budget.
This is an especially choice slider with natural color, choice surfaces and no real wear.
The last CAC approved PCGS AU58 1892-CC half eagle to sell at auction was a choice piece which brought a strong $2,585 as Heritage 6/17: 4852.
