Housed in an old "fatty" holder and choice for the grade.
The 1860 quarter eagle is an underappreciated issue in higher grades. It is not often seen in MS62 and it is rare above this.
Housed in a very old NGC holder, this choice piece shows rich frosty luster and nice rose-gold color. A few grade-limiting scuffs can be seen on the surfaces.
No CAC approved MS62 example has ever sold at auction; a PCGS MS62 realized $1,410 as Heritage 1/14: 6451.
CAC has approved just 2 in MS62 with 4 finer.
