SUPERB GEM 1903 QUARTER EAGLE, PCGS/CAC MS67

The 1903 is among the most common Liberty Head quarter eagles and it is easily located in grades through MS66. Properly graded MS67 coins are scarce and only one finer has ever been graded by PCGS.

Gradeflation and a change in collecting habits has killed the market for this type in ultra-high grades. A decade, this was a $5,000+ coin with low population figures and strong collector demand. This example is a superb Gem by anyone's standards with unmarked, frosty surfaces and some mint-made copper spots on both sides.

The most recent APR for this date in PCGS/CAC MS67 was Stacks Bowers 2017 ANA: 1304 at $3,525.

A perfect type coin for the collector seeking the finest available quality for this date.

CAC has approved 20 in this grade with none finer.
