PCGS/CAC AU50 1852-O QUARTER EAGLE

The 1852-O quarter eagle is common in the lower to middle AU grades but most seen in this range have been stripped and lack natural color.

This nice example would likely grade AU53 were it not for a shallow mark on the jaw of Liberty. It shows fully natural orange and green-gold hues.

No PCGS AU50 1852-O quarter eagle has sold at auction since May 2008.

A nice coin and great value at less than $1,000.

CAC has approved 4 in this grade with 29 finer.

PLEASE ADD $25 TO COVER EXPRESS MAIL FEES ON ALL COINS PRICED AT $2,500 AND LOWER.
