By a huge factor, the 1891-CC is the most available Carson City eagle in Uncirculated. The beauty of this date is that it is affordable in MS60 to MS62 and it tends to be well-made. In other words, unless you have alot of money to spend, the 1891-CC is a great choice for a CC type coin.
This fresh-from-Europe example has attractive deep green-gold and rose color with strong details and luster. The obverse fields some some handling marks but I have seen clearly inferior examples in MS62 holders.
There were four NGC MS61 examples of this date sold at auction in September 2012 and prices ranged from a low of $1,704 to a high of $1,998; none had CAC approval.
