With a mintage of only 15,015, the 1860 is a fairly scarce and often overlooked issue which is not seen much better than AU53 to AU55. I am aware of four of five in Uncirculated including a pair graded MS64 by PCGS.
This untoned piece is lustrous and shows pale sunflower-gold hues on the obverse and reverse. There are a few small circulation marks seen on both sides with none especially detracting.
The only other PCGS AU53 example of this date with CAC approval sold for $2,585 as Heritage 1/13: 7338. A non-CAC PCGS AU53 brought $1,763 in the Heritage 9/13 auction.
For a bit over two grand, this coin offers genuine condition scarcity and eye appeal.
CAC has approved two in this grade with two finer.
