Only 15,055 were struck and this date is reasonably scarce even in EF grades.
This piece has enough body and luster to grade AU50 but there are just a few too many small ticks in the fields to call it such. Still, for the grade it is far above average in all respects.
The last EF45 to sell at auction was an NGC coin (non-CAC) which brought $1,704 in November 2012.
CAC has approved five in this grade with four finer.
