THE ONLY 1890-CC HALF EAGLE WITH A CAC GOLD STICKER
Housed in an old PCGS holder and a solid MS61 by today's standards.
The 1890-CC is one of just four CC half eagles made during the 1890's; the final decade of production for this mint. It is comparable in overall rarity to the 1892-CC and 1893-CC and considerably harder to locate than the 1891-CC.
This is a choice, original coin with pleasing luster and a definite lack of wear on the high spots. It is undipped and unadulterated which in and of itself makes it unusual for this issue.
This is the only 1890-CC half eagle to have received the coveted gold sticker from CAC indicating that it is undergraded in their opinion.
A great coin with all the "bells and whistles" one could hope for.
