Variety-1. Clean, evenly worn and very attractive for the date and grade with nice green-gold hues on the obverse and the reverse.
While sometimes seen in higher grades, this is an extremely hard issue to find in the collector grades and I haven’t seen a problem-free EF example in quite a while. The last PCGS EF45 to sell at auction was Heritage 3/08: 1462 (this brought $2,530), and no EF45 with CAC approval has ever been auctioned. A great type coin or perfect for the collector building a set of “perfect” EF’s.
