The 1835 is a scarcer date than the 1834 Plain 4 but it is still appropriate for use as a type issue.
This light yellow-gold example is frosty with a good amount of mint luster showing atop slightly scuffed surfaces.
PCGS graded AU55 examples are offered for sale with much less regularity than NGC pieces and the last PCGS 55 to sell at auction was Teletrade 11/12: 2943 at $1,725.
A nice type coin for less than $2,000.
