The 1807 is the second most common Draped Bust half cent after the 1804 but it is way harder to find with good eye appeal than that date.
This is a “gem slider” with the naked eye appearance of a Choice Uncirculated example. It is a rich medium brown with considerable mint frost and some faded red color in the protected areas. The surfaces are very clean with no marks of note; as on all examples from this late die state, there are no dentils seen at the borders and some trace of metal flow is in the fields.
I have seen inferior 1807 half cents in MS62 and MS63 holders and this piece has great eye appeal.
CAC has approved just this one coin in AU58 with four finer.
