PCGS MS66 1877-CC DIME

The 1877-CC dime is perhaps the most available non-Morgan dollar silver coin made at the Carson City mint. It is surprisingly affordable in Gem and it is sometimes seen in grades as high as MS66 to MS67.

This silky Gem shows champagne-gold pastels on its choice surfaces. It is as well struck as a Philadelphia dime of this era and it would make a great type coin.

Two PCGS MS66 1877-CC dimes sold in the Heritage October 2016 auction for $1,763 and $1,998, respectively.

At less than $2,000 this seems like exceptional value.
