There are only four regular issue Three Dollars from the San Francisco mint and the 1857-S is the second most available of these, after the 1856-S.
This coin has obviously seen extensive use in commerce but it is clean and problem-free with a sharp date and clear mintmark. A small obverse mark can be seen below ST in STATES.
No CAC approved PCGS VF30 example of this date has ever been sold at auction.
