Large Eagle reverse.
For many collectors, a "dream coin" is a choice yet affordable 18th century silver dollar. These massive coins are common in terms of total extent but only a fraction are choice and original; Kantermanesque, if you will.
This is a seemingly unimprovable piece for the sub-$2,500 price point with nice natural lilac-grey color, good detail and very clean surfaces. Unlike so many VF early dollars, this piece has an unmolested appearance and I wish I could just order up a dozen of these...
