PCGS/CAC AU53 1860 HALF EAGLE

Here’s an unheralded date which is scarce, but has gone from “never seen with nice natural color” to “found in Fairmont with lovely color” status.

I graded this coin AU55 in the sale, and I like it a ton. It remains undervalued when compared to its Civil War counterparts.

CAC has approved four in this grade with 21 finer.
