The 1851-O is a scarce date in nice MS62 and it is rare any finer than this. Just five 1851-O quarter eagles have been graded finer than this.
This is a crisply defined example with rich orange-gold color over fully frosted surfaces. A few dark grease stains can be seen at the lower left side of the obverse.
Just one coin in this grade has been sod at auction since late 2016.
