A nice, frosty example with the prototypical Fairmont appearance.
Scarce in AU58 and rare in Uncirculated, the 1858 $20 has not lost a significant portion of its value due to Fairmont coins as most of these sold so far by Stacks Bowers have been AU55 and AU58.
I paid $3,600 for this coin in the most recent Fairmont auction.
CAC has approved five in this grade with 40 finer.
