PCGS MS60 1855-S $20 WITH CAC APPROVAL
I tend to avoid double eagles graded MS60 as they tend to be way too baggy for my taste, but this coin spoke to me as it is 100% unadulterated with thick, frosty luster and reasonably clean surfaces.
As a date, the 1855-S is not readily located as a non-shipwreck issue in M61 and higher. I think it is good value, especially when the coin has been approved by CAC.
A single APR exists for this date in PCGS/CAC MS60, and it was back in 8/2018.
CAC has approved three in this grade with seven finer.
