Of the two major varieties for this issue, the Large Date is significantly more scarce than the Small Date.
This is an extremely pleasing example for the grade with nice dusky russet color on both sides. A small but noticeable mark on the chin of Liberty is about the only thing wrong that I note on the coin.
Only a single EF45 has been sold at auction since early 2021, and it was a scrubbed-up PCGS example that brought $5,782.
