The 1845-O is scarcer than either the 1843-O and the 1844-O, but it is more available than the 1846-O. Examples graded AU55 are not really scarce, unless they are choice and original, as is this coin.
You’d be hard-pressed to find a nicer AU55 1845-O eagle than this. It shows deep, even green-gold color with light marks seen over fairly lustrous surfaces. This piece is likely from an overseas bank, but it lacks the dark vault dirt seen on some of the 1845-O eagle from these sources.
The sole APR for a PCGS/CAC AU55 1845-O $10 is Stack’s Bowers 11/2022: 7198 which brought $7,800.
CAC has approved three in this grade with seven finer.
