This date is fairly common in the higher AU grades but it is scarce in Uncirculated.
This is a very pleasing example with rich reddish-gold color on both sides. A few small marks are visible on the obverse and there is a shallow reverse scrape below the right wing.
No PCGS/CAC AU55 example has ever sold at action. A PCGS/CAC AU58 realized $1,860 in December 2022.
CAC has approved three in this grade with 12 finer.
