The 1869-S is the most available San Francisco quarter eagle from the 1860s. It is obtainable in all circulated grades but it is scarce in MS60 to MS62, and very rare in MS63 and finer. There is a monster PCGS MS66 known and it is owned by a North Carolina collector.
