The 1867-S is really scarce until you get up into the MS61/62 range, but I think this date is great value at current levels.
Despite a soft strike on the reverse, this is a nice coin overall with claims to an AU58 grade. The luster and color are excellent.
No PCGS/CAC AU55 has sold at auction, and a PCGS AU58 with CAC approval just sold for $2,640 in early 2023.
CAC has approved five in this grade with eight finer.
