In my opinion, this coin is a solid AU53 with just a few too many small abrasions in the fields to call it an AU55. And, yes, it’s the only 1866-S quarter eagle in any grade which has received a gold sticker from the graders at CAC.

CAC has gold stickered just this one coin in all grades combined.
