SCARCE COLLECTOR GRADE 1862-S

From an overall rarity perspective, I view the 1863-S as the single scarcest Civil War quarter eagle from San Francisco with fewer than 100 known.

This piece is well-worn but problem-free with nice color on the obverse.

A non-CAC VF35 sold as Heritage 2012 ANA at $1,998, but that was before Civil War gold became as popular as it is today.

CAC has approved two in this grade with eight finer.

PLEASE ADD $30 FOR EXPRESS MAIL SHIPPING ON ALL COINS PRICED AT $5,000 OR LOWER.
