As with the 1858-P half eagle, this is an overlooked issue which is scarcer in AU58 and higher grades than its low PCGS Price Guide valuation would suggest.

This piece is as choice (and as unadulterated) as one could hope for with rich honey-gold color, lustrous surfaces and limited abrasions.

This exact coin (see below) is the sole CAC approved PCGS AU58 to ever sell at auction.
