I was kind of exited to learn that this frosty super-slider is still the single 58+ half eagle.
Why didn’t it sticker? If I had to guess, it would likely be the small lines in the central left obverse. But, to my eyes, this coin looks a lot nicer than your “typical” AU58 Classic Head half eagle.
If you are working on an ‘Everyman’s Set” this is a coin that you definitely do not want let slip past you.
