SUPERB NGC/CAC MS65 1905 LEWIS AND CLARK GOLD DOLLAR IN AN OLD HOLDER

This wonderful Gem is from the same collection as the 1904 L+C gold dollar I sold earlier this month to a Midwestern collector. In my opinion, this example grades at least an MS66, and it has uncommonly good frosty mint luster below glowing golden-yellow color.

The 1905 Lewis and Clark is far and away the scarcest commemorative gold dollar in Superb Gem with fewer than a dozen known in properly graded MS67.

Literally an unimprovable example of this popular issue.
