FORMERLY SCARCE PCGS MS62+ 1887-S $20.00

Around the year 2000, large numbers of this date began entering the market, and they continue to pour in. Today, only once you hit the MS64 level does the 1887-S $20 retain its previous level of rarity.

This is a nice example likely from a European bank, with great color and just a bit too much “busy-ness” on the surfaces to grade MS63.

CAC has approved 22 in this grade including an unknown number in MS62+ with just 5 finer.

Ex Heritage 2017 FUN: 7178 where it sold for $4,230.
