PCGS MS62+ 1884-S $20.00

The 1884-S is a common issue through MS63. An MS64 is scarce, while Gems are extremely rare. PCGS has graded one coin MS65+ and it brought a hefty $55,200 in the Stack’s Bowers 3/2020 auction.

This piece has great color, and I think it offers strong claims to an MS63 grade.

Another PCGS/CAC MS62+ sold for $3,600 as Heritage 1/2024: 5074.

CAC has approved 53 in MS62 including an unknown number in MS62+ with 28 finer.
