PCGS/CAC 1908-D NO MOTTO $20 GRADED MS64
The 1908-D is one of those enigmatic dates in the St. Gaudens series which isn’t any big deal in MS64 but which is scarce in properly graded MS65 and very rare in MS66.
This example is totally natural with slight green-gold and rose hues atop clean surfaces.
Since September 2018, there has been just one 1908-D No Motto $20 which has sold at auction and it realized $4,320 as Heritage 3/2023: 7131.
CAC has approved 82 in this grade with just nine finer.
