CACG 1807 CAPPED BUST HALF EAGLE IN MS61
The 1807 is a transitional issue as two design types were made during this year. These are the Draped Bust Right and the Capped Bust Left. Both of these are common in the lower MS grades, although nice CAC approved MS61 and 62 coins are not exactly growing on trees.
This coin shows excellent luster with fully original medium yellow-gold color. There are handling scuffs seen in the fields. This coin is sharp and pleasing and it would be a wonderful piece for the collector seeking a single early half eagle.
CAC/CACG have approved eight in MS61 with 26 finer.
