The 1843 is a slightly better date in the early date run of early P-mint Liberty Head quarter eagles. It is scarce in MS62, rare in MS63, and there are only two known in PCGS MS64 with none finer.
This frosty yellow-gold example shows good luster with excellent overall definition.
Just two APRs exist for this date in PCGS MS62 since 2015, and these are Heritage 2023 ANA: 3821 ($4,920), and Heritage 2/2021: 23305 ($4,440).
