In the higher AU grades, the 1850-O eagle is very rare, and there are only three in Uncirculated which makes this very choice AU50 a decidedly better-than-average example.
Prior to the entrance of a small number of EF45 to AU53s, this date was almost never seen with the degree of originality which these ex Fairmont 1850-O eagles display.
In my opinion, this is a nicer coin than SB 2023 ANA: 1203, which brought $5,760, and that is the only APR comparable for the last five years.
